Local Restaurants To Donate 10% of Sales to LLS on Tuesday, April 16th

(Washington, DC) -   The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Glory Days Grill today announced they have partnered to celebrate the  restaurants’ 17 year anniversary on Tuesday, April 16th.  Local Glory Days Grill locations (18 in total) will donate 10% of all food sales to LLS to help fund their mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

“The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is thankful to all of the Glory Days Grill staff, general managers and owners for choosing to work with LLS on their anniversary celebration,” said Gabrielle Urquhart, National Capital Area Chapter Executive Director. “The dollars raised through this partnership will help to fund life-saving research and important patient programs and services. I hope everyone will find time to support Glory Days Grill and LLS on April 16th and enjoy a delicious meal for a great cause.”

Glory Days Grill has been a pillar in the local community for many years, lending their support to various events, little league teams and charitable endeavors. The company-wide partnership with LLS is the first of its kind, and through the event they hope to raise $10,000 for the organization. In addition to donating 10% of food proceeds, patrons will have the option to make an additional donation to LLS on-site, and those wearing LLS-branded gear will receive a coupon for a free appetizer during a future visit.

“We are pleased to partner with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on the occasion of our 17 year anniversary,” said Jeff Newman, President at Glory Days Grill. “LLS is a strong local organization that provides much needed services, programs and support to so many people.  One of our company’s core objectives is to provide community outreach in numerous ways and working in concert with LLS fits hand-in-glove with our mission.”

LLS volunteers will be on-site at all participating Glory Days Grill locations during dinner hours to help collect donations and provide diners with information about LLS and its mission. For more information please visit www.glorydaysgrill.com.
