Glory Days Grill® Appoints Director of Restaurant Development

Fairfax, VA — Glory Days Grill, a regionally owned and operated restaurant chain headquartered in the Metro Washington/Baltimore area, appointed Gary Cohen as director of restaurant development.

Cohen has 27 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, having served as president of That's Amore Restaurants since 2003 and in a variety of corporate level and field management capacities for concepts such as Vie de France Restaurants, Gilbert Robinson Restaurants and Marriott Corporation.

As director of restaurant development, Cohen will provide the oversight for new corporate restaurant openings; will oversee implementation and maintenance of the company's training materials and operating manuals; and will locate, sell and service Glory Days Grill franchisees. Says Jeff Newman, Co- Founder of Glory Days Grill, "This is an exciting time for the development of the company. Two new Glory Days are under construction in Frederick, MD and Lorton, VA. Four additional new restaurants have leases that have been signed and three more new sites are in various stages of negotiation. Glory Days Grill is a full-service, family-friendly sports-themed restaurant offering freshly prepared menu items and the latest in sports, news and entertainment via satellite televisions, projection screens and private speaker systems. The Glory Days Grill system has 14 corporate-owned and operated locations as well as 2 franchised locations. In addition, Glory Days Grill previously announced that four new locations will be opening during the next 12 months, including Lorton, Fredericksburg and Broadlands in Virginia and Frederick, Maryland.
