Glory Days Grill® Announces 2013 Vendor of the Year Awards

Gaithersburg, MD — February 18, 2013 — Every year since 2000, Glory Days Grill identifies select ‘Vendors of the Year’ to recognize excellence in business partnerships.  In order to win this prestigious award, vendors must exceed expectations by going above and beyond the call of duty in a substantial fashion.

For the 13^th consecutive year, Glory Days Grill has chosen Vendors for their outstanding support and commitment demonstrated throughout the prior year.  The winning Vendors of the Year for 2012 are as follows: Ashland Equipment, Inc., Digitec Solutions, Inc., Sir Speedy, Inc. and Service Distributing/Gallo Wines.  Recipients will be honored with a dinner and awards ceremony on March 6, 2013. 

Ashland Equipment: A Belcamp, MD company that specializes in commercial foodservice equipment and design. They have designed some of the biggest commercial kitchens in the country including production kitchens at Host/Marriott facilities and Johns Hopkins University.  The detailed oriented staff at Ashland won the bid to assist in the design and implementation of two new Glory Days Grill restaurants during 2011-12 and performed flawlessly.  Ashland has become Glory Days Grill and Fanfare Eatery's "go to" company for kitchen equipment resupply, tables, furniture, custom stainless and future layouts and designs. Rod White, President, and his team bring many years of knowledge, expertise and a "can do" attitude to each and every project.  

Digitec Solutions, Inc: A 13-time winner of this distinction, Digitec Solutions, Inc. (a member of the Support Functions, Inc. Group of Companies) is an extremely innovative company that has been a partner with Glory Days Grill since its inception in 1996.  Based in Fairfax, VA, Digitec Solutions, along with the other members of the Support Functions Group, provide Glory Days Grill with a variety of products and services ranging from uniforms to speaker boxes to plastic toys for kid’s drinks.  They also serve as Glory Days Grill’s IT Company, providing computer hardware, software and a variety of innovative technology solutions.  Digitec Solutions specializes in serving the needs of small and medium size companies and is the support function leg of several companies that act to create varied solutions to business and industry.
