Glory Days Grill® Awarded McCormick Cornerstone Award for Sixth Year

Gaithersburg, MD — April 16, 2014 — Glory Days Grill, a regional restaurant chain with 5 of its 22  locations in Maryland, was selected for the sixth time by The Restaurant Association of Maryland as the winner of their coveted ‘McCormick Cornerstone of the Industry Award.’ This award recognizes companies that best illustrate how restaurants are the cornerstone of the economy and their community.  These businesses support local communities by creating jobs and financially supporting non-profit groups, schools, scouts and youth sports teams.

Through a number of community programs, special events, sponsorships and fundraising efforts, Glory Days Grill channels approximately $300,000 per year into the communities in which they operate, supporting local sports teams, schools, businesses, and a variety of other organizations. The restaurant company employs nearly 1,500 employees across its 19 corporate locations and within its corporate office. Glory Days Grill will open its 6th Maryland restaurant location later this year in Ellicott City at Forest Green.
