Glory Days Grill® Announces Vendor of the Year Awards

Gaithersburg, MD — April 10, 2012 — Every year since 2000, Glory Days Grill identifies select ‘Vendors of the Year’ to recognize excellence in business partnerships.  In order to win this prestigious award, vendors must exceed expectations by going above and beyond the call of duty in a substantial fashion.

For the 12^th consecutive year, Glory Days Grill has chosen Vendors for their outstanding support and commitment demonstrated throughout the prior year.  The winning Vendors of the Year for 2011 are as follows: Ashland Equipment, Inc.; The Boston Beer Company; Digitec Solutions, Inc. and US Foods.  Recipients were honored with a dinner and awards ceremony which took place March 28, 2012 at the Glory Days Grill in Broadlands, VA.  Each winning Vendor was awarded engraved baseball bats to commemorate their achievements as well as custom Glory Days Gear (www.glorydaysgear.com). 

Ashland Equipment: A Belcamp, MD company that specializes in commercial foodservice equipment and design. They have designed some of the biggest commercial kitchens in the country including production kitchens at Host/Marriott facilities and Johns Hopkins University.  The detailed oriented folks at Ashland won the bid to help design our two newest restaurants in 2011 and did a great job not only equipping the restaurants, but also helping us with design, layout and efficiency.  Ashland has become Glory Days Grill's and Fanfare Eatery's "go to" company for kitchen equipment resupply, tables, furniture, custom stainless, and future layouts and designs. Rod White, President, and his team bring many years of knowledge, expertise and a "can do" attitude to each and every project, making it a pleasure to work with this fine group of seasoned professionals.
